Happy 2018!!! I hope you guys had a wondeful New Years Eve and it was celebrated with your loved and dear ones. Just a few days before the new year, i discovered a Gem of a place! The Manzil Downtown hotel invited us to try their Levant Brunch @Boulevard Kitchen.
So off we went, my tribe. Two hungry adults, two excited kids to the Levant Brunch ( which i had only heard about previously)
We were offered our refreshments and i gave in to the eagerness of a perfect Friday pink bubbly.
Here are my takes on the restaurant and what i felt about it, truly.
1) Decor: The Decor of the Boulevard Kitchen was warm and inviting, like a Levant paradise. The restaurant is divided very lovingly into three parts, the Indoor, the Outdoor, and the area in between. The place is so beautiful and inviting with a perfect blend of Earthy and Bright Tones. The contrast of earthy dark brown and dull mustard yellow gives the diners a welcoming, casual
ambiance, while soothing cream-colored trim holds it all together. The Dark wood furnishings shine in this setting and lime-colored accents promote tranquility.
2) Food: Now this! Even if i talk for hours, it wouldn't finish, you would perhaps fall asleep reading it! The food was one of the best ever meals i have had in Dubai, in 18 years. Right from the Cold Mezze, to the warm fritters, to the succulent juicy chicken wings there was so much for everyone!! Kamy and I both enjoyed an overdose of so many types of salads to start with. He then went it for the yummy stuff, which included Biryani, Grilled Fish with tomato and herb, and beautiful fresh oven baked brown breadies.
The kids had such a huge cuisine - with variety of healthy chicken wings, rolled cheese balls with herbs, pasta, and cold mezzes for them, which they enjoyed as much as we did. Fresh juices went with it perfectly.
Dessert - Never seen a bigger variety, i almost decided to sneak in boxes and pack some yummy hot and cold desserts for home, ( including the Fresh date maamoul, Sesame cookies, crusty crumby toffee pudding , sigh!)
3) Staff - I only saw smiles. All through our meals. Enough said.
4) Kids Friendly - Oh boy!!!! The kids had a playstation to themselves, and a section for writing, drawing, and even Yoga! Is that enough said? I didnt need to run after them, or wake them up from boredom, they were so so busy after their meal. Me and the hubby got to sip our bubbles quietly while watching the trees sway with the breeze outside the window.
They have Sheesha too!!! The only thing is, if you come with kids, you cant sit outdoor due to the passive smoking factor. Its a happy positive to hear!
My rating - 8.5/10 ( MUST must visit for everyone with or without a family/kids )
