Sweet escape to istanbul
supposed to be working!Hey you guys! Its been long i have done a blog, but here it is. The Silent escape to a land which i can never forget and want to go back to again and again. Istanbul you were so beautiful, warm, and i really wonder what kind of Devil minds would want to harm places like these. To be honest you guys, i wasnt sure i wanted to go, leaving the kids behind, and entering a land that has been a wee bit at unrest recently.
But from the moment i landed, i was in Heaven. And when they say Destiny, i am a Destiny's child, so i went with my gut and boy was i on top of the world! |
Colorful cultureThe one thing i noticed in Istanbul was an overdose of Color everywhere, from Walls, to buildings to roads. Such a beautiful infusion of color everywhere, it stirred my soul and excited me at every corner.
In fact the temperature was anywhere between 10 degrees and 15 degrees, and every hour or two, it would lightly drizzle. I was in a Dream! If i could create a Dream Escape place by my name, it would have to be similar to Istanbul and Capetown! |
My love for istanbulI would run short if i were to describe my immense love for this city, whether it was sitting in a Waterfront Cafe and sipping on a local Turkish tea, or touring the culture of the Grand Bazaar, or entering their road trains and trying to make conversation with people who didnt know English, in every step Istanbul spells LOVE.
